He is Back: Former Maritzburg United Champion Eyes Shock Return to the PSL

The Cameroonian shot-stopper has enjoyed several stints outside South Africa, exploring opportunities in other African leagues following his previous involvement in Mzansi’s football scene.

However, a potential return to South Africa could represent another important chapter in his professional career as he looks to revive his presence in a country where he has previously featured.

Fru’s experience across different African football environments could work in his favour, particularly as clubs continue to assess their goalkeeping options ahead of future transfer windows.

The goalkeeper’s reported interest in returning to Mzansi could also attract attention from PSL clubs seeking experienced competition between the posts.

South Africa is no stranger to foreign goalkeepers, with several players from across the continent having previously made their mark in the domestic game.

While no specific club has been confirmed as a potential destination, Fru’s desire to return puts the possibility of another South African adventure firmly on the table.

His next move will be worth monitoring as the former PSL goalkeeper looks to secure an opportunity to continue his career in Mzansi.
