Francis Duru Family Reveals Date for Final Farewell

The family of veteran Nollywood actor Francis Duru has announced plans to lay him to rest.

The family of late Nigerian actor, Francis Duru has announced his burial arrangements.

The report was confirmed in an online post, on Monday signed by his sister, Anthonia Chenyi, and his first son, Ebuka Duru.

A service of songs will be held in Abuja on Wednesday November 25, 2026, at 5pm at Family Worship Center on Idris Gidado Street in Wuye.

A second service will take place in Imo State on Thursday, December 10 at the late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru’s family compound in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano.

The burial proceeds on Friday, December 11, in Okai.

Duru died on October 22, 2026, at the age of 59, after a long illness.

The family did not say what the illness was.
