Did Ruto and Gachagua Meet In USA Over Money? Moses Kuria Questions 300-Acre Texas Ranch

Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has questioned how former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua acquired a 300-acre ranch in Texas, United States, reigniting debate over the source of his wealth.

Kuria’s remarks came after Gachagua declared during an interview on Kiririmbi that he would relocate to the United States if President William Ruto wins the 2027 General Election.

Reacting to the declaration, Kuria suggested that Gachagua’s decision to publicly acknowledge ownership of the American property had brought renewed attention to questions he claimed had previously been dismissed as political jealousy.

“God loves Kikuyus. What made him inform the public that he bought a farm in America? We all knew he bought 300 acres in Texas, but if we said it, you would have said it was fitina and wivu. But that’s not the point,” Kuria remarked.

The former CS then recalled his earlier observations about Ruto and Gachagua travelling to the United States around the same time in September, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding their visits.

“You remember I said President Ruto and Riggy G would be in the US at the same time in September? Where do you get money to buy a 300-acre ranch in Texas?” he asked.

Kuria also dismissed the suggestion that proceeds from hosting a musical event featuring Mugithi musician Samidoh could explain the purchase of such an expansive property.

“Common sense says you cannot buy a 300-acre ranch in Texas through hosting a Samidoh event. Ewe Mungu nifunze kunyamaza. WAJINGA NI SISI,” he added.

Gachagua’s Texas property has previously attracted public attention, particularly after he hosted several Kenyan political figures at the ranch during his extended American tour.

His latest declaration about potentially relocating to the US has now provided fresh ammunition for Kuria, who appears to be questioning the source of funds used to acquire the property.

However, Kuria has not presented evidence linking the purchase to any financial transaction involving President Ruto or suggesting that money changed hands during their September visits.

The remarks have nevertheless reopened questions about Gachagua’s American investment and added another twist to the increasingly heated political exchanges surrounding the 2027 presidential contest.
