Woman refuses to welcome ANC campaigners and orders them out of her yard

A video showing ANC campaigners visiting a woman’s home has attracted attention after she refused to welcome them and told them to leave her yard. She made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with the ANC, with the confrontation prompting discussion about the party’s reception among voters during its campaign activities. It was also alleged that the woman had previously sought assistance from ANC officials but received no help, which may explain her reaction to the campaigners.

The post is silent on what the campaigners said to her before she told them to leave, since the clip does not set out the exchange in full. The post also does not say where her home is located or when the visit took place. Those details matter because they would establish the context of her reaction. Without them, the clip shows only her refusal, and the allegation that she had previously sought help from ANC officials has not been independently confirmed.

Some viewers supported her, saying her refusal reflected frustration with the party and others saying she had a right to reject campaigners at her home. Some said the ANC should have helped her before asking for her vote, while others said the campaigners were simply doing their job.

What has not been settled is whether the ANC has commented on the confrontation or whether the woman has explained her reasons further. The post does not establish whether she had actually sought help from party officials before, and the allegation remains unverified. The public is waiting for more information, because the clip has fuelled criticism of the party’s reception without any confirmation of what happened.
