NPP Has Outperformed The NDC In Governance Since 1992 – Samira Bawumia’s Photographers

According to a report by Ghanaian Citizen TV on Sunday November 1, 2026, a political statement attributed to photographers of former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s wife, Samira Bawumia, has generated attention after they claimed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has performed better than the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in governance since Ghana returned to constitutional rule in 1992.

The statement, which has sparked discussions about the governance records of the two major political parties, presents the NPP as having delivered a stronger performance over the years compared with its political rival, the NDC.

According to the photographers, the NPP has demonstrated a better record in managing the affairs of the country since the beginning of the Fourth Republic, a period that has seen both parties take turns governing Ghana.

The claim by Samira Bawumia’s photographers is likely to add another dimension to the longstanding political conversation about which party has contributed more to Ghana’s development.
