Kwankwaso’s Son Mustapha Presents Certificate of Return to His Father, NDC VP Candidate [Photos]

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, son of former Kano State Governor and NDC Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has presented his Certificate of Return to his father following his emergence as the running mate to the party’s Kano State Governorship Candidate, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo.

According to a media post by Honourable Saifullahi Hassan, media aide to the former Kano State Governor, on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the two candidates presented their Certificates of Return issued by the New Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

During the visit, Senator Kwankwaso received the candidates and offered them his blessings, encouragement and words of advice as they prepared for the political responsibilities ahead.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the governorship candidate and his running mate to formally share their emergence with the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate and seek his support as they prepare for the forthcoming electoral contest in Kano State.

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso’s emergence as the running mate to Gwarzo has also drawn attention because of his relationship with the former governor, who remains a prominent political figure in Kano State.
