Galamsey fight harder than NDC anticipated in opposition – Ako Gunn

Godwin Ako Gunn, an aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communications Officer position, has admitted that addressing illegal small-scale mining, popularly known as galamsey, has been more challenging than the party expected before assuming office.According to him, the scale of illegal mining and the extent of environmental destruction have exposed the complexity of the problem since the NDC assumed office.
