2027: Reactions As Aisha Yesufu Issues Public Announcement On Her Readiness For War To Achieve Peace

Human rights activist and staunch supporter of Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, Aisha Yesufu, has stirred reactions on social media after declaring her readiness to confront those she considers her oppressors ahead of the January 2027 general election.

Yesufu made the declaration in a post on her social media handle, describing it as a public announcement and pledging to live by the principles instilled in her by her father from now until January 2027.

Quoting the principle that “if I want peace, I should be prepared for war,” the activist warned that she would no longer take what she described as her oppressors lightly.

“From now till January 2027, I will live by the tenets on which my father brought me up, which is IF I WANT PEACE, I SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WAR!!!!!!” she wrote.

She also advised social media users who might find her position uncomfortable to mute or block her account, saying she was prepared to stand her ground.

“For your peace of mind and sanity, you can block or mute my handle!!!! I am not going to kid around with my oppressors!” she added.

Concluding her message in a defiant tone, Yesufu declared that “the battle line has been drawn,” although she did not identify specific individuals or groups she was referring to as her oppressors.

Her statement has drawn attention amid the political activities and debates expected to intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, with the activist known for her outspoken views on governance and political accountability.

Yesufu has been a vocal supporter of Peter Obi, whose political ambition she backs ahead of the forthcoming presidential election. Her latest declaration signals her determination to remain outspoken in the months leading up to the polls.
