“What Happened To Javits Is The Reason Why I Would Never Raise A Child In The Bronx—Bongo

According to a Post on Bongo Ideas official facebook account on Saturday, October 31,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Albert Nat Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas, has shared American rapper Cardi B’s emotional reaction to the death of 15-year-old Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong in New York, drawing attention to concerns about bullying and child safety in schools.

In a Facebook post, Bongo Ideas shared remarks attributed to Cardi B, in which the award-winning rapper expressed sadness over the incident and questioned the growing concerns surrounding violence among young people.

Cardi B reportedly indicated that the tragedy had reinforced her reluctance to raise a child in the Bronx or enrol one in a New York public school, citing concerns about the prevalence of bullying among schoolchildren.

According to the statement, the rapper expressed concern that bullying could begin at a very young age, even in the first grade, leaving innocent children vulnerable to mistreatment by their peers.

She also questioned what could drive an individual to take another person’s life without an apparent reason, using the incident to emphasise the need for parents to pay greater attention to the values they instil in their children.

The rapper particularly called on parents to teach their children kindness, empathy and respect, while discouraging attitudes and behaviours that encourage bullying.

“What makes someone wake up in the morning and decide to kill somebody for no reason? Parents need to teach their children kindness and stop encouraging bullying,” the statement attributed to Cardi B read.
