Vivian Jill Lawrence Thanks Ghanaians For Support After Sister Mabel’s Funeral

Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill Lawrence has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the public following the funeral of her late sister, Mabel, saying the overwhelming support from Ghanaians has strengthened her pride in the country.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, the actress acknowledged the kindness shown to her and her family during a difficult period of mourning. She extended her appreciation to people who attended the funeral, reached out to the family and offered support in different ways.

Vivian Jill also singled out members of the entertainment industry, thanking fellow actors, musicians and other colleagues who stood by the family following Mabel’s death.

The actress explained that the response she received had left a lasting impression on her. She said the love shown by Ghanaians was so meaningful that reflecting on it made her happy to identify with the country.

Her message carried a personal touch as she expressed a wish to visit everyone who supported the family to thank them individually. However, she acknowledged that reaching every person would not be possible.

“The love Ghanaians have shown me and my sister, Mabel, makes me happy to be Ghanaian whenever I think about it,” she said.

She further explained that she wished she knew where all the supporters lived so she could personally visit them and express her appreciation. Since that was not practical, she chose to use her social media platform to deliver a message of thanks to the many people who had stood with her family.

Vivian Jill also shared her belief that her late sister would be happy to know how much love and support had been extended to their family.

“To my fellow actors, musicians and everyone else, Mabel and I thank you,” she added.

The actress’s message highlights the importance of community support during moments of bereavement. For her and her family, the encouragement received from friends, colleagues and members of the public appears to have provided comfort as they said their final goodbye to Mabel.

Her public appreciation also recognises the contributions of people who supported the family, whether through their presence at the funeral or other gestures of kindness during their period of grief.
