Relebohile Mofokeng Backed To Challenge For Belgian League Title With Union SG

South African football sensation Relebohile Mofokeng has received an encouraging assessment of his team’s title chances after former Belgium international Franky Van der Elst tipped Union Saint-Gilloise to be among the leading contenders for the Belgian league championship.

Van der Elst believes Union SG and Club Brugge are currently better positioned than their rivals and expects the two clubs to battle for the title.

“Union Saint-Gilloise and Club Bruges are simply better. I think they are the ones who will fight for the title,” Van der Elst said during an interview.

His comments have placed additional attention on Union SG’s campaign, with the club expected to remain in the race for domestic honours.

For Mofokeng, the possibility of competing for a major league title in Europe would represent another significant milestone in his football journey. The talented South African has attracted considerable attention, and supporters will be eager to see how he contributes to his team’s ambitions.

Union SG will need consistency throughout the campaign to turn the predictions into reality, particularly with Club Brugge also identified as a strong contender.

Van der Elst’s assessment has added excitement around the Belgian title race, while South African supporters will be watching closely to see whether Mofokeng can help Union SG secure the championship.

The big question is whether the South African star can make history by winning his first league title in European football.
