Nobody Can Tell Him How To Live His Life—Rita Edochie Defends Yul Edochie Over Recent Personal Decision

Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has come to the defence of actor Yul Edochie amid discussions surrounding his latest personal decision, insisting that he is an adult who should be allowed to make his own choices without interference.

Rita stated this in a post shared on her official Instagram page, @ritaedochie, where she questioned why public attention appeared to be focused on the woman involved rather than on Yul himself.

According to the actress, Yul is mature enough to determine how he wants to live his life, adding that he should not be subjected to criticism simply because his personal choices do not align with other people’s expectations.

She further declared that she would support the actor’s decision even if he eventually changed his mind, stressing that he had the right to decide what was best for him.

Rita also drew attention to Yul’s previous personal decisions, questioning why his latest choice had generated scrutiny when, according to her, he was not subjected to the same level of questioning over a decision he made four years ago.

The actress criticised what she described as double standards in the public’s response, arguing that people should respect an adult’s freedom to make personal decisions, regardless of whether they agree with them.

Rita concluded her post by saying she was watching events unfold, describing the ongoing situation as an interesting drama.
