I Lost My Wife,I Lost My Mother And Loss Is Very Difficult To Deal With, I’m My Mom’s Only Child—RMD

Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has stated that losing his wife and mother are the hardest experiences he has had to deal with in life

In an interview with Olive Emodi, RMD said the pain of losing loved ones never completely goes away. He explained that memories and different experiences can bring back the grief in different ways.

Speaking about his mother, the actor said he was her only child, which made their bond particularly close.

In RMD’s words: “I have lost a wife, I have lost a mother. Loss is very difficult to deal with and the pain never goes away. What happens is the pain transitions or morphs into different things, it depends on what recalls them and it depends on what the affinity is. For my mother for instance, I am an only child so it gives you an idea of our closeness”
