Atuguba Couple’s Murder: Police Arrest Woman Accused Of Leading Killer To Their Home

According to a report by Ghanaian citizen TV on Saturday October 31, 2026, the Ghana Police Service has arrested a 47-year-old woman, identified as Beatrice Mumuni, in connection with the gruesome killing of George Atuguba and Irene Atuguba at NTHC Estate in Sakumono.

The arrest follows investigations into the double murder, which reportedly occurred on October 30, 2026, and has raised concerns over the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.

According to information released by the Police Service, Beatrice Mumuni is suspected of playing a significant role in the incident by allegedly leading the principal suspect, Samuel Christopher Osei Anto, to the residence of the victims before the killings took place.

Investigators believe her alleged involvement could be important in establishing the events that led to the deaths of George and Irene Atuguba. However, the full circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
