Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalwa, storm Juja, Kiambu County
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has continued his political engagements in Kiambu County after officially opening a DAP-K constituency party office in Juja.
In a statement shared after the event, Gachagua said he was accompanied by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa during the opening ceremony.
The three leaders later addressed a large crowd of residents who had gathered outside the constituency party office. Many people turned up to welcome the leaders and listen to their message as they engaged residents on local issues and the country’s political future.
Gachagua also spoke about the opposition’s plans ahead of the 2027 General Election, expressing confidence that the leaders would reach an agreement on a joint presidential candidate.
“We shall agree and give Kenyans one candidate to form the 6th Administration,” Gachagua stated.
His remarks point to ongoing efforts among opposition leaders to build a united political front and agree on a single candidate ahead of the next General Election.
The presence of Kalonzo and Wamalwa alongside Gachagua in Juja also brought together leaders from different political parties, highlighting their continued public engagements.
The opening of the constituency office is expected to provide a local point of contact for DAP-K supporters and residents seeking to engage with the party.
The meeting comes amid increased political activity as leaders continue reaching out to voters and discussing possible alliances ahead of the 2027 polls.
