NPP parliamentary aspirants to pay GH¢5,000 to declare interest

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will open its online portal from November 1 to 10, 2026, for members seeking to contest the party’s parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2028 general elections to declare their interest at a fee of GH¢5,000.The announcement was made by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, during a press briefing on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
