Mfundo Vilakazi Opens Up on Fernando Da Cruz’s Views About Showboating at Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mfundo Vilakazi has opened up about the influence of head coach Fernando Da Cruz on his development, particularly regarding his playing style and use of flair on the pitch.

The young midfielder has attracted attention for his entertaining approach to football, including his impressive dribbling skills, confidence on the ball and willingness to take on opponents. His style has made him an exciting player to watch, especially among supporters who appreciate creativity and individual brilliance.

However, questions have emerged about how the new technical leadership at Naturena views showboating and whether players are encouraged to express themselves freely during matches. Vilakazi’s latest comments have provided some insight into Da Cruz’s position on the matter.

The French coach is understood to have played an important role in helping the midfielder improve his overall game. Beyond his natural ability, Vilakazi has been working on becoming more effective, making better decisions and understanding what the team requires from him during different stages of a match.

For a young player still developing his career, receiving guidance from an experienced coach could prove important in reaching his full potential. While flair and creativity remain valuable qualities, knowing when to use them can make a significant difference in modern football.

Da Cruz’s influence appears to be helping Vilakazi strike a balance between entertaining football and tactical discipline. This could allow the midfielder to retain the qualities that make him special while becoming a more complete and dependable player for Kaizer Chiefs.

Amakhosi supporters will undoubtedly be hoping that the youngster continues making progress under the new coaching setup. His technical ability, confidence and attacking instincts give him the potential to become an important figure in the club’s midfield.

As Vilakazi continues learning and adapting to Da Cruz’s expectations, his development will be worth following closely. The biggest challenge will be maintaining his natural creativity while consistently delivering performances that benefit the entire team.
