Bernard Ngore is a Kenyan mechanical engineer, businessman and hospitality investor who has built a career in the automotive repair industry while investing in tourism in Meru County.

Ngore serves as chairman of the Kenya Motors Repairs Association (KeMRA) and previously chaired the National Standards Council at the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). He also served on the board of Numerical Machining Complex (NMC) between 2012 and 2014.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and a postgraduate diploma in administrative management from the Institute of Administrative Management in London.

After completing his studies, Ngore worked as a mechanical engineer at Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd between April 2000 and September 2005 before building his business interests in Kenya.

He is the founder and chief executive officer of Top Quality Motors Ltd., an automotive repair company with branches in Ruiru and near Maua Town along the Farm-Meru National Park Road. The company attained ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2015 and reportedly employs up to 120 people, with an annual turnover of approximately Ksh160 million.

Beyond the automotive sector, Ngore has invested in hospitality through SpringWells Hotel, a three-star establishment near Maua Town in Igembe South, Meru County.

Born and raised in Ncunguru village, Ngore chose to invest in his home constituency, contributing to the area’s hospitality sector. The hotel is strategically located near Meru National Park and serves both local and international visitors.

SpringWells offers accommodation ranging from standard rooms to executive suites, with reported rates of between Ksh3,500 and Ksh8,000 per night. Its facilities include Wi-Fi, televisions, balconies, conference rooms and a restaurant serving local and international dishes.

The hotel also provides grounds for weddings, birthday parties, entertainment shows, photography and other events, alongside recreational facilities for children.

Through his ventures in automotive repairs and hospitality, Ngore has established a presence in two sectors while investing in business opportunities beyond major urban centres.
