Jeridah Andayi Responds to Kenyans Asking Why She Doesn’t Live Luxuriously in US

Jeridah ndayi has responded to Kenyans who have been questioning her lifestyle in the United States, particularly those who expected her to live a luxurious life simply because she relocated abroad.

The conversation was prompted by criticism from some Kenyans who felt her lifestyle did not reflect what they expected of someone living in America. One question that stood out was, “Mbona hukai kama mtu anaishi America?” (Why don’t you look like someone who lives in America?)

In response, Andayi explained that moving to a foreign country does not automatically translate into wealth or a comfortable lifestyle. She noted that many immigrants have to work hard to establish themselves and may take years before they achieve financial stability.

Andayi also highlighted the financial pressure that comes with starting life in a new country. Immigrants have to meet their daily expenses, pay bills and deal with other responsibilities while trying to build a better future.

She urged families back home to understand these challenges instead of assuming that relatives living abroad have unlimited money to send.

According to her, relocating to America does not mean someone suddenly becomes wealthy or can afford to support everyone financially. Many people are still working towards their personal goals and have to make careful decisions about how they spend their earnings.

Her remarks also touched on the expectations placed on Kenyans living abroad, with some families assuming that life overseas is always comfortable.

Andayi’s explanation offered a reminder that life abroad comes with its own financial struggles, and being in a country like the United States does not mean someone has already made it financially.
