I Gathered Imo People And Put Tinubu’s Picture Before Them, The Reaction Was Very Terrible -Okorocha

Former Governor Rochas Okorocha has stated that residents of Imo State will listen to him if he asks them to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 because they trust him not to mislead them

In an interview with Arise TV, Okorocha said he recently gathered some Imo residents and showed them Tinubu’s picture. He said their initial reaction was negative, with some questioning why he wanted them to support Tinubu in 2027

Okorocha said he then spent about 30 minutes telling them about Tinubu’s good relationship with Igbo people and what they would benefit from supporting Tinubu. He said the people left the meeting clapping after listening to his explanation

In Okorocha’s words: “I gathered some few Imo people last time and I put President Tinubu’s picture. The reaction was bad, very terrible. They said ‘Your Excellency what is happening, you want us to follow Tinubu?’ That was the first question I had from people and I laughed. When I sat them down and drilled them within the time for 30 minutes, everybody left clapping”
