Bekhi Mtolo Fires Shots At MK Party Saying No Black Must Forgive Zuma & MK Party

Former African National Congress (ANC) KwaZulu-Natal provincial secretary Bheki Mtolo has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the removal of former uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party secretary-general Sibonelo Nomvalo warning political parties against rushing to recruit him.

Mtolo says Nomvalo should be given time to recover from the political turmoil surrounding his departure before making any decisions about his future.

In a strong statement the former ANC provincial leader argued that no sober revolutionary should celebrate what he described as the actions of Jacob Zuma and his cruel cronies against Nomvalo.

He also cautioned political organisations against viewing the former secretary-general’s situation as an opportunity to strengthen their own ranks.

According to Mtolo, parties attempting to recruit Nomvalo immediately could be acting out of self-interest rather than genuine concern for his political future.

That would be recruitment meant for exploitation. Let’s allow him to heal then once he has healed he can make his sober next move Mtolo reportedly said.

His remarks come amid growing public discussion following Nomvalo’s removal from the MK Party’s top administrative position and his subsequent removal from Parliament.

The party announced his dismissal citing concerns involving councillor selection, deployment committees, parliamentary changes, internal factionalism and other organisational matters.

Nomvalo has since publicly challenged the circumstances surrounding his removal, alleging that senior party figures fed Zuma false information to turn him against him. These claims have been disputed and remain allegations.

Mtolo intervention adds another political dimension to the unfolding dispute, particularly as questions emerge about whether Nomvalo could consider joining another political organisation.
