Afoko backs Bawumia for 2028, pledges to work for NPP victory

Former National Chairman of NPP Awentami Paul Afoko has thrown his weight behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2028 presidential election, saying he will keep working in the background to help the New Patriotic Party (NPP) win.In a statement issued after the party’s national executive elections, Afoko said he will continue to work in the background, as he did in the past, in support of the party’s presidential candidate towards victory in 2028.
