Samson Adamu to emerge substantive CAF General Secretary

Nigerian-born football administrator Samson Adamu may emerge as the substantive General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), months after his appointment as acting head of the continental football governing body’s administration.CAF officially appointed Adamu, son of former Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Amos Adamu, as its acting General Secretary in March, 2026.
