Orlando Pirates’ Next Six CAF Champions League Fixtures Revealed

Orlando Pirates Learn CAF Champions League Group Stage Schedule

Orlando Pirates have learned their schedule for the CAF Champions League group stage, with the South African giants set to face Simba SC, RS Berkane and Colombe Sportive DL in Group C as they pursue qualification for the knockout rounds.

The Buccaneers will begin their continental campaign away against Tanzania’s Simba SC between November 27 and 29. The opening fixture presents a challenging test for head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and his players, who will be determined to start their African journey with a positive result.

Pirates will return to South Africa for their second match, hosting Moroccan outfit RS Berkane between December 4 and 6. Playing in front of their home supporters could provide a valuable opportunity to collect maximum points and establish momentum early in the competition.

Their third assignment will see them travel to Cameroon to face Colombe Sportive DL between December 18 and 20. The encounter will conclude their group-stage fixtures for 2026, making it an important opportunity to strengthen their position before the competition resumes in January.

The Soweto giants will open the new year at home against Colombe Sportive DL between January 8 and 10 before welcoming Simba SC between January 15 and 17. Both matches could prove decisive as the race for qualification intensifies.

Pirates will conclude their group-stage campaign away against RS Berkane between January 22 and 24. The result could determine whether the Buccaneers progress to the next round, depending on their performances in the preceding matches.

With six demanding fixtures ahead, consistency will be essential for Pirates. Strong home performances, defensive discipline and the ability to secure points on the road could determine their fate in Group C.

Ouaddou and his squad will now focus on preparing for their opponents as they balance domestic commitments with continental ambitions. Pirates supporters will hope the team can rise to the challenge and make a significant impact in Africa’s premier club competition.
