“My Boyfriend Wants To Weaponise The Law Against Me”- Doris Ogala Cries Out In Court
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has spoken out over her ongoing legal dispute involving Pastor Chris Okafor, claiming that the law is being used against her.
Ogala reportedly made the statement shortly before she was remanded at Ikoyi Prison, pending the scheduling of her bail hearing.
Speaking in court, the actress said, “A court is a place that allows the common man to speak. My boyfriend wants to weaponise the law against me.”
Her remarks come amid the ongoing legal dispute between her and Pastor Okafor, which has continued to attract public attention.
Ogala, who is the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for Abia State in the 2027 election, had previously expressed concerns over alleged plans to keep her behind bars.
She reportedly feared that being detained could affect her freedom and political ambition ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The circumstances surrounding her reported remand and the scheduling of her bail hearing remain central to the ongoing legal proceedings.
