INEC bows to pressure, clears Gwarzo as Kano NDC governorship candidate

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has cleared the National Democratic Congress, NDC, governorship candidate, Abdulsalam Gwarzo, to contest the 2027 Kano State governorship election.INEC confirmed that Gwarzo had met all the requirements and was eligible to contest the election.The clearance was conveyed in a letter issued to the NDC leadership in Kano on Thursday.
