EPL: Man Utd hit by injury blow ahead Of Chelsea clash

Manchester United will be without striker Benjamin Sesko until at least January due to a shin injury. The Slovenia international has not featured for the Red Devils since their 2-1 defeat to Brighton in the Carabao Cup on September 16. Sesko was substituted in the 66th minute of that encounter after sustaining the injury. According to BBC Sport, the 23-year-old has undergone several medical tests to determine the cause of the problem, with United manager Michael Carrick seeking clarity on when the striker will return. The latest diagnosis means Manchester United will have to cope without the forward for several important fixtures. Sesko’s absence comes ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with United seeking to improve their results. The 22-year-old joined Manchester United to strengthen their attacking options and his extended absence leaves the club with fewer choices in the forward position. Tags:
