Court Sacks Gov Uzodinma As Senatorial Candidate For Imo West And Declares Ex Gov Rochas Winner

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Imo Governor Hope Uzodinma to stop presenting himself as the APC candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District.Justice Obiora Egwuatu ruled that Uzodinma did not win the May 18, 2026 APC primary monitored by INEC. The court declared former governor Rochas Okorocha the actual winner and directed the APC to submit his name for the January 16, 2027 election.
