According to a Post on Bongo Ideas official facebook account on Thursday, October 29,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Albert Nat Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas, has questioned dancehall musician Stonebwoy over his reaction to comments made by Kwabena Bobbie, arguing that expressing a contrary opinion does not necessarily amount to disrespect.

In a Facebook post, Bongo Ideas challenged Stonebwoy to explain what he considered disrespectful about Bobbie’s opinion, insisting that individuals have the right to express their views, even when those views differ from those of others.

According to Bongo Ideas, disagreement should not automatically be interpreted as an insult, particularly in public discussions involving celebrities and their work.

He maintained that while Stonebwoy was entitled to disagree with Bobbie’s comments, such disagreement did not necessarily mean the latter had acted disrespectfully.

Bongo Ideas also addressed the comparison between Stonebwoy and fellow dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, stressing that praising one musician should not automatically be viewed as an attack on another.

He argued that people have different musical preferences and should be allowed to express their admiration for their favourite artistes without being accused of undermining others.

“Praising Shatta Wale doesn’t automatically mean attacking Stonebwoy,” Bongo Ideas stated, emphasising that personal preferences should be respected within the entertainment industry.

The social commentator further urged Stonebwoy, as a public figure, to develop the ability to distinguish between criticism and disrespect.

He argued that celebrities are often subjected to differing opinions and should recognise that not every critical remark is intended as a personal attack.

“Not every opinion is an attack,” he stressed, urging the musician to approach criticism with a clearer understanding of the difference between disagreement and insult.
