She’s At It Again — MaMkhize’s New Club Set to Raid PSL for Shock Double Coaching Signings

Ex-Gallants Coaches Emerge as Top Candidates for MaMkhize-Linked Club

Two former Marumo Gallants coaches have reportedly emerged as leading candidates for the head coach position at Mbabane Highlanders AM, adding an intriguing twist to the club’s search for new technical leadership.

The pair, who were recently associated with the South African club, are believed to be among the names under consideration as Mbabane Highlanders AM look to strengthen their coaching department and improve their competitive prospects.

The development has attracted attention because of the coaches’ recent experience in South African football and the potential opportunity to continue their careers in a different football environment.

Mbabane Highlanders AM, who compete in Eswatini football, are understood to be assessing their options as they consider the next step for the club’s technical team. Appointing the right head coach would be an important decision, particularly as the team seeks greater consistency and progress on the pitch.

For the club’s supporters, the possibility of recruiting coaches with experience in South Africa could represent an exciting development. The Betway Premiership remains a demanding competition, and coaches who have worked within its structures may bring valuable knowledge of player development, tactical preparation and the demands of professional football.

However, any appointment would depend on the club’s final decision-making process, with no confirmation yet provided in the information available about the identities of the leading candidates or the timing of a possible announcement.

The reported links have also drawn attention because of the association between Mbabane Highlanders AM and the wider football network connected to South African businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize, popularly known as MaMkhize. Her involvement in football has previously attracted significant interest from supporters and observers across the region.

Nevertheless, the immediate focus remains on the coaching position and the identity of the person who will eventually be entrusted with leading the team.

A new head coach would be expected to establish a clear playing philosophy, build confidence within the squad and ensure that the team remains competitive throughout the campaign. The appointment could also influence recruitment decisions and the development of younger players.

For the two former Gallants coaches, the reported opportunity could provide a fresh challenge after their recent spell in South African football. Moving to Eswatini would offer a different environment in which to demonstrate their technical abilities and leadership qualities.

For now, the situation remains one to watch as Mbabane Highlanders AM weigh their options. Supporters will be eager to learn whether either of the reported candidates secures the position, although an official announcement is still needed before any appointment can be treated as confirmed.
