2027 election timetable unfavourable to Ndigbo –South East Council of Traditional Rulers

The South East Council of Traditional Rulers, SECTR, has lamented that the timetable for the 2027 general elections, especially the January 16 date for the Presidential and National Assembly polls, is unfavourable to the Igbos.The traditional rulers made the lamentation after their quarterly delegate meeting, and urged the Igbos who would be travelling for festivities at that election period to ensure that they return to their registration areas in the cities to cast their votes en masse.
