Zlatan Reveals How Wife Davita Lamai Helped Him Before Fame, Says God Brought Them Together

Nigerian rapper Zlatan has revealed how his wife, Davita Lamai, supported him during his early days in London, describing her as his support system and crediting God for bringing them together.

In a report published on Monday, October 26, 2026, Premium Times said the singer shared details of their relationship during an interview on his YouTube channel.

Zlatan explained that he met Davita during his first trip to London while pursuing music opportunities. He knew few people in the city and was unfamiliar with its banking system.

He recalled meeting her through someone he had connected with over a possible music collaboration. After their introduction, he asked for her phone number.

Davita later helped him with transportation by allowing him to use her car, a gesture he remembered as an important source of support during that period.

“She’s always helped me with her car; she’s my support system,” Zlatan said.

The rapper added that he had focused on improving his circumstances rather than pursuing relationships when he was younger. Reflecting on his journey, he said he believed God had guided the major events in his life, including his meeting with Davita.
