“She Shot Her Shot” – Gogo Flirts With Ramaphosa After He Jokes He’s Younger – SA In Stitches

South Africans are beaming and laughing along with a TikTok video of President Cyril Ramaphosa and an old woman that went viral on October 26, 2026. In the course of a friendly conversation with the gogo, the president casually brought up his age, joking that he was actually two years her junior. The astute retiree wasted no time getting back in on the action, charming viewers with her fearless and flirtatious banter.

The president’s calm, pleasant response and the gogo’s courageous actions were widely praised in the video, which went viral. Many were elated to see the nation’s leader interacting so openly and comfortably with a regular citizen, since it provided a rare opportunity to see him in an unguarded setting.

However, a more subdued discussion was also started by the incident. Though many joined in the mirth, some South Africans wondered if Ramaphosa is selective about the people he stops to speak with during his walkabouts and if this kindness is extended to all residents of all communities equally. Reports of unresolved complaints about service delivery in other areas stand in stark contrast to this viral, cheerful interaction. However, at this time, the country is captivated by the sparkling boldness of the gogo—a symbol of how a little harmless flirting, confidence, and humor can make even the busiest day more bearable.

This is a link to an article about some flirtatious banter between Cyril Ramaphosa and a man named Sa, who is loved by women.
