Ondo NMA raises alarm over Fake drinks, kidney disease

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Ondo State chapter, has raised concerns over the circulation of counterfeit and adulterated beverages, warning of possible links to liver cirrhosis and kidney disease among young people.The association has called on the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and other relevant authorities to intensify efforts to identify and remove potentially harmful drinks from circulation.
