German-born Ghanaian forward Isaac Westendorf seals Oxford City loan switch
The Hoops have secured the loan deal of the forward of Ghanaian descent from their fellow non-league rivals until early next year ahead of the winter transfer window
English National League North side Oxford City have announced the loan signing of German-born Ghanaian forward Isaac Westendorf from domestic division rivals Torquay United until January 2027.
The former Newcastle United U23 is linking up with the The MGroup Stadium outfit to regain match fitness for the rest of the 2026-27 campaign as per his parent club.
Announcing their short-term loan deal with the 25-year-old striker, the Oxford-based club have said across their social media platforms: ”A pacy and powerful striker, we’re delighted to welcome Isaac back to the MGroup Stadium on loan from Enterprise National League South side Torquay United.”
Before reuniting with his former employers, he made 6 appearances for the Gulls in this ongoing English National League South.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Bremen-born native attacking forward is still qualified to represent the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage.
