Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy.

In a recent appearance on The Zeze Millz Show, the ‘Chanel’ crooner shared his excitement at the prospect, predicting that a joint project with Burna Boy would be “really fire.”

“A lot of the energy I’m bringing this year was inspired by Burna Boy,” Blaqbonez revealed. “I would love to collab with Burna Boy, that would be really fire. I can imagine it—it would just be super crazy.”

Born Emeka Akumefule, Blaqbonez first rose to prominence with his 2021 debut album, ‘Sex Over Love.’ He has since built an impressive catalogue, releasing several hit projects and collecting numerous awards. His sophomore effort, ‘Young Preacher,’ arrived in 2022, followed by his acclaimed third studio album, ‘Emeka Must Shine,’ in 2023—a project that earned him recognition on Rolling Stone’s ‘50 Innovators Shaping Rap’s Future’ list in August of that year.

Blaqbonez continued his prolific streak with the 2025 release of ‘No Excuses’ and most recently, his fifth studio album, ‘Nomadinho: 4th Prime.’
