2022 comment by American pastor addressing his new second wife as “daughter” surfaces

An old comment made by a U.S pastor, Israel Ford, addressing his now second wife, Shakayla Ford, as “daughter” has surfaced online. 

Ford, of LifeWorks Church in Wickliffe, Ohio, announced his marriage to Shakayla on his Facebook page on Sunday, accompanied by a video recorded in the church.

The pastor, who appeared alongside his first wife, Lydia Ford, at the church, described monogamy as unbiblical. 

It was gathered that Shakayla started off as Ford’s “spiritual daughter.”

In a photo of them together shared in 2022, both declared love for each other. 

“My hardest working daughter! I love you so much!!!,” he wrote.

“Awwwe! I love you too!!!” Shakayla replied.
