Mandla Ncikazi Breaks Silence After Leaving Orlando Pirates for Golden Arrows

Mandla Ncikazi has spoken for the first time since leaving Orlando Pirates after being appointed the new head coach of Lamontville Golden Arrows.

The experienced South African coach has expressed gratitude to his former employers, acknowledging his time at Orlando Pirates as he begins a new chapter in his coaching career.

Ncikazi’s departure marks the end of his spell with the Buccaneers, where he worked as part of the technical team and contributed to the club’s efforts in domestic and continental competitions. His experience at one of South Africa’s biggest football clubs is expected to be valuable as he takes on the responsibility of leading Golden Arrows.

In his first comments following the move, Ncikazi made it clear that he remains thankful to the people and institution that gave him the opportunity to work at Orlando Pirates.

“I’m still grateful to my previous employers,” Ncikazi said.

His remarks reflect an appreciation for his previous workplace despite the change in direction in his career. Rather than focusing only on his departure, the coach has chosen to recognise the role his former employers played in his professional journey.

The appointment at Golden Arrows presents Ncikazi with a fresh challenge. He will now be expected to help the Durban-based club strengthen its performances and compete more consistently in the Betway Premiership.

Golden Arrows have a history of developing players and competing against some of the country’s most established teams. With Ncikazi bringing his experience from Orlando Pirates, supporters will be hoping that his arrival can help the club achieve its objectives.

His knowledge of South African football and familiarity with the demands of the domestic league could prove important as he settles into his new position.

For Orlando Pirates, Ncikazi’s exit also represents a change within the club’s technical structure as the Buccaneers continue pursuing their ambitions across different competitions.

Meanwhile, Golden Arrows will be looking forward to seeing how their new coach shapes the team and prepares the players for the challenges ahead.

Ncikazi’s message of gratitude has added a respectful note to his departure from Orlando Pirates. As he begins his next assignment, the focus will now shift to his work at Golden Arrows and what he can achieve with his new team.

The coming matches will provide an opportunity for the coach to demonstrate his plans and begin building a successful future with the Durban-based club.
