The Red Roses duo are shortlisted alongside Canada’s DaLeaka Menin and New Zealand’s Kaipo Olsen-Baker for the sport’s highest individual honor.

Harrison, 28, has enjoyed a prolific year at fly-half, contributing 88 points from the tee for England.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Red Roses captain Jones earns her second consecutive nomination for the award, having missed out in 2025 to Canada’s Sophie de Goede.

Both World Cup-winning players were instrumental in leading England to their eighth consecutive Women’s Six Nations crown in May.

Their contributions were part of a historic 41-match unbeaten streak for the Red Roses, which was only brought to an end by back-to-back defeats against Canada earlier this month.

The winner will be crowned following the conclusion of this weekend’s final WXV Global Series fixtures, where England are scheduled to face the United States on Friday at 21:15 GMT.

Adding to the national team’s accolades, England’s Abi Burton has also earned international recognition. She has been shortlisted for the Women’s 15s Try of the Year for her sensational score against Australia during September’s WXV Global Series action.
