ECG meter audit will not disadvantage consumers – PURC

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has assured electricity consumers that the proposed meter audit by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will not adversely affect them, amid public concerns about the scope and potential implications of the exercise.The Commission says it will review the audit framework and engage ECG further to ensure that adequate safeguards are incorporated to protect consumers throughout the process.
