Government launches new digital system to target suspicious vehicles

The Border Management Authority (BMA) has launched the Vehicle Targeting System (VTS) at the Lebombo Border Post to combat vehicle theft and cross-border vehicle smuggling in South Africa.The new project, developed in partnership with the International Vehicle Identification Desk, uses a digital vehicle targeting system to replace random manual inspections.
