Bongo Ideas Calls For Suspension Of Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Concert Over Reported Fan Death
According to a Post on Bongo Ideas official facebook account on Sunday, October 25,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Albert Nat Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas, has called for the immediate suspension of rapper Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert in Kumasi following reports that a fan died during the event.
In a Facebook post, Bongo Ideas expressed concern over the reported incident, questioning the organisation of the concert and urging authorities to prioritise the safety and lives of attendees.
“A fan reportedly d+es at Sarkodie’s rapperholic concert in Kumasi. This is bad,” he wrote.
The commentator described the reported incident as troubling and called for the show to be suspended immediately, arguing that human life must take precedence over entertainment and commercial interests.
He further criticised what he perceived as poor event organisation, suggesting that inadequate arrangements may have contributed to the reported fatality.
“This flop show must be suspended asap if human life matters!” Bongo Ideas stated, adding that such incidents should not be allowed to happen again.
His comments have drawn attention to concerns about crowd management, emergency preparedness and the responsibility of event organisers to provide a safe environment for concertgoers.
Large-scale musical events typically require effective crowd control, adequate security personnel, accessible emergency exits and prompt medical assistance to protect attendees in the event of an emergency.
However, the circumstances surrounding the reported death, including its cause and whether it occurred within the concert venue, remain unconfirmed based on the information contained in the Facebook post.
