Bawumia pays last respects to late Klikor Paramount Chief

New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has paid his final respects to the late Torgbiga Addo VIII, Paramount Chief of the Klikor Traditional Area, during his funeral rites.

In a Facebook post, Dr Bawumia described the late traditional ruler as a visionary leader whose wisdom and commitment to peace left a lasting impact on his people.

He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Klikor Traditional Area as they mourn the loss of their paramount chief.

“My heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved family and the entire Klikor Traditional Area during this time of mourning,” he said.

Dr Bawumia’s attendance at the funeral rites formed part of tributes to the late chief, whose leadership and service to the traditional area were acknowledged in his message.
