“My Son Was 34, Not 41” — Toluwanisings’ Father Insists Late Gospel Singer Must Be Buried In His Personal House

“My Son Was 34, Not 41” — Toluwanisings’ Father Insists Late Gospel Singer Must Be Buried In His Personal House

Fresh twists have emerged surrounding the funeral arrangements of the late popular Nigerian gospel artiste, Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.

His biological father, Pa Muniru Olayemi, has declared his wishes regarding where his son’s remains should be laid to rest.

In an emotional appeal that has stunned members of the gospel music community, Pa Muniru declared his stance that the late singer must be buried within the premises of his own personal house.

The grieving father dismissed alternative arrangements being circulated, insisting that as the paternal head of the family, it is his rightful obligation to oversee his son’s final transition at his own residence.

Beyond the disputes surrounding the burial location, the father also debunked the social media rumour surrounding the age of the deceased.

While early news reports stated that the “A Very Big God” crooner passed away at the age of 41, Pa Muniru categorically clarified that Toluwanisings was actually born in July 1992, making him 34 years old at the time of his death.

To back his claim, Pa Muniru provided personal context regarding the late singer’s early childhood and upbringing.

He revealed that Toluwanisings’ biological mother passed away in 1992, just six months after his birth.

Following the loss, Pa Muniru said that Baby Sofia (Toluwanisings’ birth name) was taken in by his maternal family, who primarily managed his upbringing and subsequent adulthood, creating a disconnect that contributed to the current public confusion over his real age.

The revelation has sparked conversation among fans, colleagues, and the gospel ministry.
