Hoedspruit businesses to battle at touch rugby challenge
LIMPOPO – Hoedspruit businesses will have an opportunity to compete for bragging rights while strengthening workplace relationships when the Southern Cross Schools Corporate Touch Rugby Challenge takes place on Saturday, October 31.
The five-a-side tournament, hosted at Drakensig Air Force Base, is aimed at bringing local businesses together for a day of friendly competition, sport and community spirit.
Teams of five to seven players are invited to participate in the non-contact competition, which will feature pool games followed by finals as teams battle it out for the trophy.
Organisers promise a fast-paced and entertaining day, with the event also catering for spectators and families.
Food stalls and a cash bar will be available, while a dedicated children’s play area will keep younger visitors entertained.
Businesses are encouraged to gather their colleagues and enter a team, while residents, family members and friends are invited to come along and support the participating teams.
