Ghanaian defender Derrick Atta Agyei has secured Finnish Veikkausliiga promotion with Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat as the Ykkösliiga 2026 Champions.

The 23-year-old left-back, who linked up with the Arto Tolsa Areena outfit on a free transfer from elite division club Kuopion Palloseura in the winter transfer window of 2026, was an ever-present figure in the setup of manager Juha Pasoja as they emerged victorious in the just-concluded Finnish League One season.

Atta-Agyei played in 30 game appearances across all competitions for KTP during the 2026 football season.

He is yet to earn his international cap with the Ghana national football teams at any level in his international football career so far.
