“Any NPP Leader Who Says Wontumi Is in Good Health Is a Liar” — Abronye Drops Bombshell

According to a report by The 1957News on Saturday, October 24, 2026, Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye, has made a strong statement about the health condition of the party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi.

Abronye has challenged NPP leaders who claim that Chairman Wontumi is in good health, insisting that such claims do not reflect his understanding of the situation.

According to Abronye, any NPP leader who says Chairman Wontumi is in good health and physical condition is not telling the truth. He maintained that the Ashanti Regional Chairman is seriously ill.

“Any NPP leader that says Chairman Wontumi is in good health and shape is a liar. Wontumi is very sick,” Abronye stated.

His comments have drawn attention to the health condition of one of the NPP’s prominent regional leaders. Chairman Wontumi has played an important role in the party’s activities in the Ashanti Region, which remains a key political stronghold for the NPP.

Abronye’s remarks may generate further discussion within the party, particularly among members and supporters who are concerned about Chairman Wontumi’s well-being.

However, the statement represents Abronye’s claim about the regional chairman’s health. No independent medical information has been provided in the report to establish the exact nature or severity of Chairman Wontumi’s condition.

The comments could also raise questions about the information being shared among party members regarding the health of the Ashanti Regional Chairman.

As the situation continues to attract attention, further clarification from Chairman Wontumi, his representatives or other reliable sources could help provide a clearer picture of his condition.

For now, Abronye has made his position clear, dismissing claims that Chairman Wontumi is in good health and insisting that the regional chairman is seriously ill.
