One Victim Has Withdrawn Herself From The Sexual Abuse Claim – Mannaseh Azure Reveals

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has revealed that the Ghana Police Service has confirmed to him that two victims have reported cases of sexual abuse against the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School (SHTS).

In a post on Facebook, Manasseh disclosed that while two separate reports were made to the police regarding the alleged abuse, one of the victims later withdrew her case.

The police have confirmed to me that two victims reported sexual abuse by the Obuasi SHTS head, but one withdrew the case, Manasseh wrote.

The revelation comes amid growing public concern over allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against the school head, which have sparked outrage and calls for thorough investigations.

Manasseh Azure, known for his in-depth investigative reporting on issues of abuse and corruption, did not disclose further details about the identity of the victims or the current status of the remaining case, but his post has reignited conversations about safety and accountability in second-cycle institutions.
