Hearts coach Nebojsa Kapor warns against complacency ahead of Holy Stars game

Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor has urged his players to approach their Ghana Premier League week 8 clash against Basake Holy Stars with a better mentality as they seek to build on their recent victory over Vision FC.

The Phobians secured a 1-0 away win over Vision FC in their last outing, but Kapor insists the team must improve their attitude and performance this time massively.

“As I have said many times, we finished this job well against Vision, but the next step for us is the most important, and we have to face this game with a far better mentality than we had against Vision,” he said.

The Bosnian tactician also cknowledged the quality of Basake Holy Stars, pointing to their strong home performances and ability to collect points in the ongoing campaign.

He also warned his players against underestimating their opponents, stressing that matches in the Ghana Premier League are difficult regardless of the opposition.

“Basake won games at home ground and they collected good number of points. So far they did well. We are approaching them as a very strong opponent. We are not going to think this game will be easy game. Never. Every game here is very difficult,” he added.

The game is slated for 17:00GMT (5:00pm) later today at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
