Chiefs Handed Timely Boost Ahead of Must-Win Clash

Kaizer Chiefs have received a welcome lift ahead of their crucial continental match against Red Arrows. The Soweto giants travel to Durban knowing they must overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit if they want to keep their CAF Confederation Cup hopes alive.

The second leg of the preliminary round tie takes place tonight at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Kick-off is set for 18:00. Amakhosi lost the opening fixture in Ndola last weekend when Alassane Diarra scored late for the Zambian side. A victory is now required for Chiefs to progress to the group stage.

In a timely boost, midfielder Lebohang Maboe has returned to the squad. The 30-year-old travelled with the team to Durban and took part fully in preparations.
